Edublogs and Animoto
I’ve been showing off Edublogs this week to educators and with that new sign up feature for students so that they don’t need an e-mail it makes it even easier to get kids to come to see your teacher blog OR to get them to have their own that you can also manage. Thank you for the links and nice videos. We spent most of the afternoon playing with the features here in Edublogs.
I’ve also been looking into other podcasting/vodcasting work with audio and pictures and love Voicethreads, but have finally gotten Animoto to work. I will try to embed the short video I did with my kids pictures to Figaro’s Wedding (Classical music) that they had as a choice. I wanted to do HipHop, but chickened out. Here’s something I have to work on……get songs into iTunes or my computer. Problem is, I don’t have many, I listen to too much Sports Talk and am too cheap to buy CD’s or even pay for the $1 a song at iTunes Store.
Anyways, preparing for a Tech Connect workshop tomorrow and then the weekend will be clean/put stuff away in the new house, then trip to Buffalo Sunday for our niece’s birthday party! Yippee. Jen got flowers for her birthday and I got to relax a little after 2 other workshops…..oh yeah, and we moved into the new house!
