WNY-PLP

Good closing for this year’s WNY-PLP in West Seneca by Will Richardson and Sheryl Nussbaum-Beach. Throughout this process I don’t know what others have learned (even my own district), but I know I did learn quite a few things. I started to build my network, and I think that especially early on, it gave me a great place to find new info. Since November I have used Twitter and this Ning to jump start my learning.

Now I still use Twitter, but also use del.icio.us, other Nings, Google Reader with blogs from educators (and students!). I have never met Dean Shareski and Alec Courosa, but I already know that I value their opinion. I don’t know the real name of Bud the Teacher, I think I know Zemote ( Jeff O’Hara) the man everyone wants to see Edmodo from as well as with Nic Borg. It’s late and I need to get to sleep! No one relly cares what I think anyways, because I need to get better at this whole blogging thing.

Somehow I need to have my dry humor come through with a blog. I know that people say that I’m not that funny, but I think that maybe if you could understand…that I’m….well….ok………….I have problems. Thanks network, you are helping me keep my job!

I do thank all of you. You have made me all look good. If anyone actually reads this, let me know your thoughts.

    Hi Mark,

How could there be problems if you have a picture of a golfing foursome on the mast of your blog!? ;-)

Enjoy your comments on Twitter and will now follow your blog as well. As part of my own network, your learning and that of others inspires my learning as well!

That is what community is all about. The collective builds us up as individuals. Golfing just might be your problem. I know it’s mine. The problem is I do not play enough. Oh well, we chose the profession. Summer he we come.

It is a joy to see you active in the network. I continue to learn from you in Twitter and look forward to your ideas in the various VLCs (NING) that are out there.

Take Care Mark and thanks for your leadership in this project.

    Sheryl
