Shaking off the rust…
Need to get back in the swing of this blog. Paperwork, paperwork. Need to find more time, somehow.
Survived a morning workshop with teachers thanks to fellow colleague (@tclarkeee). Nothing bad, but it is hard when it is the last week for teachers, the sun is shining and some of them are thinking of finishing up grades, Regents exams from last week, or exams coming up. Tried to show some MediaNet services that we offer here at CA BOCES (it is amazing how much our teachers could have just in here), looked at TeacherTube (they even had YouTube unblocked!?!? Lastly, I wanted to show them Thinkfinity, but before I knew it time must’ve been up as they started heading for the door! Not one of my stellar performances, but they did see quite a few resources to use in the classroom.
What other resources do people out there use for the class? I wanted to search more on del.icio.us and see what people had tagged, but didn’t. All right, have to get back to work and to try to finish billing, mileage and plan out the rest of the week.
